BYD dashcam using the car's own cameras
Your BYD already has four surround cameras. Yoldaş records from them, so you do not need to fit a separate dashcam.

Known limits
- In reverse, the cameras are handed back to BYD's own parking view, and Yoldaş recording may stop.
- When the car is off and the head unit sleeps, Yoldaş stops. There is no recording with the ignition off.
- Image quality is limited by the surround cameras and is not as sharp as a dedicated front dashcam.
- Camera directions are confirmed only on the BYD Seal.

Frequently asked questions
Does a BYD record video by itself?
BYD's own software shows the surround cameras for parking and manoeuvring but does not offer continuous road recording. Yoldaş records all four cameras into one video.
Where are recordings stored?
In Yoldaş's folder on the head unit, using at most 2 GB. When full, the oldest unprotected clip is deleted. Export to a USB stick or SD card is not available yet.
Is audio recorded?
Not by default. Cabin audio needs a separate permission and an explicit choice.
